Chapter 63 - Feel Instead of Think
The past couple of days I've been waking up with this sense of feeling that there is so much potential for an adventure to the day and the opportunty for greatness is just a moments away. I haven't felt like this for such a long time. It's something I would use to feel everyday when I was a child. Everyday you would wake up bright and early eager to see what the day has installed for you and seeking the great adventure you will be endeavouring for the day. I use to live in the country, so for a child it's the perfect playground to dream, imagine and explore the world.
"There are moments where you feel instead of think. I can never make these moments last. I cling to them, but like everything they fade. I live for these moments. They pull me back to the present." - A Single Man
This quote is exactly how I feel. These good vibe is so welcoming because I have been feeling so lost and down and trapped due to what we all face at my age which is your future. All I want to do is go off somewhere far far away, see all the beauty that this world has to offer, meet diverse inspiring people, have all the wonderful experiences yet to be experienced and feel happy and so content I have a constant annoying smile slapped across my radiant face.
Unfortunately as we grow older we tend not to be so present. Always thinking and worrying about tomorrow, next week, 10 years from now, that we are unable to be present and soak in the here and now and enjoy what's infront of you. But like our child-self, we need to be excited for the day and make the most of of it. Wether it is building a cardboard house, playing with you pet cat, dog, chicken, rabbit, peacock, or having lunch with a friend or watching that rom-com movie you having been dying to watch. Here's to not being crushed by social pressures and just being plain happy.
Remember to feel instead of think.
